He has appeared as counsel in more than 80 arbitrations in Europe, Asia and Australia, in cases conducted through most of the world’s leading institutions (including LCIA, ICC, HKIAC and SIAC), seated in such locations as London, Singapore, Geneva and Hong Kong.
Max teaches international law and international arbitration at the University of Sydney as an Adjunct Professor. He has acted as the Australian delegate to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law’s working group on arbitration.
