Promotions
The firm is delighted to announce the following promotions, which take effect from 1 July 2023.
Renee Kasbarian is promoted to Partner in the employment law team. Renee was one of the first employees of Henry William Lawyers, having joined the firm in January 2017. Renee has adeptly worked on many intense, fast-paced matters, enhancing her workplace law expertise as well as broadening her skill set beyond employment law. Renee’s commercial and pragmatic approach is highly valued by our clients. Not only is Renee an invaluable member of the employment law team, she is a leader. Renee’s expertise includes Work Health & Safety and industrial disputes and advice.
Louise McDonald is promoted to Partner in the litigation and insolvency team. Louise joined the firm as a Senior Associate in July 2017 and immediately demonstrated a strong appetite for responsibility and leadership. She is renowned for her attention to detail, tenacity and mentorship within the firm. Louise has consistently demonstrated an ability to take the lead on significant insolvency and litigation engagements. She has a broad network and builds deep connections with clients.
Sarah Harris is promoted to Partner in the litigation and insolvency team. Sarah joined the firm as a Lawyer in October 2017. Sarah’s thorough, analytical and practical approach to her work has ensured consistently excellent results for her clients. She has played a key role in some of the firm’s biggest litigation and insolvency engagements. She has also made significant contributions to the firm’s systems and precedents and shown an aptitude for working on the business, not just within it. Sarah has repeatedly been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a ‘rising star’ within the profession at a national level.
Michele Izzo is promoted to Partner in the corporate and commercial team. Michele joined the firm in September 2020. Michele’s calm and supportive demeanour has made him a leader within the corporate and commercial team. He combines his exceptional personal attributes with a meticulous, efficient and punctual approach to his legal work. The trust clients have for Michele’s work has been integral in the expansion of the exceptional corporate and commercial practice of the firm.
Ina Rodriguez is promoted to Senior Associate in the employment law team. Ina joined the firm in January 2020. Ina’s knowledge and experience covers the broad range of the employment life cycle, including drafting employment-related documentation, managing disputes and everything in between. Ina is known for her eye for detail.
